Manlifts are vehicles that have a platform hoist fitted onto the back. The hoist can be raised and it has a flat platform on which an operator can stand. The manlift uses an extendable arm to raise and lower operators to a desired height so that tasks may be completed at that level.

This category will contain equipment such as side shifters, forks, clamps and any/all items that can be considered a removable attachment on an existing piece of equipment.

Industrial batteries and chargers typically used with electric powered lift trucks; voltage range is usually 12,24,36 or 48 volt. Verify your incoming building voltage requirements when purchasing new or used chargers including required battery amp hour charger and battery ratings. Most chargers can be re-wired for a buildings varying voltage. A building with 3 phase systems may not have a neutral wire which allows the 3 phase system to use a higher voltage while still supporting lower voltage single phase chargers.

These machines are meant for outdoor use and can handle very large containers varying in size up to 40 feet. Available options are forks, or hydraulic spreaders for lifting. Fuel type is typically diesel.

This is the most popular lift truck. It is typically used indoors in warehouse applications and on smooth surfaces only. It is not meant for outdoor use. It is also typically smaller than a comparable machine with pneumatic (air) tires. It comes with a variety of fuel choices.

Similar to stackers, these machines serve a variety of general purposes. Weight carried is counterbalances by the battery weight and weight of the machine itself. This machine is powered electrically so a charger is needed. An indoor application and smooth driving surface is recommended.

This machine is typically used outdoors on rougher surfaces and contains a short and compact crane used for lifting heavier loads. There are variances that distinguish knucklebooms from straight boom trucks or trolley booms.

This category is reserved for non-standard equipment or for manufacturers that are not as widely known and may not be listed in the manufacturers list.

Used indoors and on smooth surfaces, these popular machines are best used to retrieve and store pallets. Units may extend 1-2 pallets deep. Outriggers are used to counterbalance weight carried and as these machines are electrically powered, a charger is needed. As with most electrically powered units, little or no ventilation is needed due to the lack of harmful fumes.

Order Pickers are a type of pallet truck that is capable of traveling into tighter areas and the operator is able to ride a platform up and down to the desired height. These are typically used in indoor warehouse applications.

These electrically powered units are used in an indoor application and are quite versatile. Lifts and lowers electrically by use of hand controls. Fork length is typically 48 inches and wheels are a hard material. A charger is needed.

This lift truck type is usually suited for an outdoor application. It has good ground clearance and rides nicer than a cushion tire machine of comparable size. These are sometimes referred to as “yard trucks”. It comes with a variety of fuel choices.

These four-wheeled loaders are compact and are used in many different types of industrial environments. These are also known as skid loaders and skid steers. These pieces of equipment do exactly what their name implies. Used in warehouse applications, they sweep up debris with rotating brushes or are used to scrub warehouse floors. They are typically a walk-behind machine and cannot be used in an outdoor application.
